An Ocean County man has been charged with luring a girl into his car.
The Prosecutor's Office says 76-year-old Ralph Maffie approached a 14-year-old in a Wawa parking lot in South Toms River last week.
He allegedly offered her a ride and when she said no, the victim says he followed her.
He then allegedly offered her money to get into the car.
After a third try, the girl ran away.
