Man accused of groping girl at Walmart surrenders to police

A Blackwood man has surrendered to police after he was accused of inappropriately touching a 10-year-old girl who was shopping at a Walmart in Gloucester County.

A Blackwood man has surrendered to police after he was accused of inappropriately touching a 10-year-old girl who was shopping at a Walmart in Gloucester County.
Washington Township police say that 31-year-old Robert L. McKeown Jr. surrendered at police headquarters on Sept. 7 after police posted a surveillance photo on social media of the man believed to be have been involved in the incident.
Police say that McKeown touched the girl while she was shopping with her mother at the store. Police say that when the mother confronted McKeown, he left the story in a silver sedan.
McKeown was charged with sexual assault and is at Salem County jail awaiting a court date.
