A man was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated and smashing through a Lynbrook homeowner's fence early Sunday morning.

Lynbrook police say they received a call at 3:03 a.m. for an auto accident near 332 Broadway.

Officers who arrived at the scene noticed a 28-year-old man exiting from the debris.

Authorities say police arrested him for DWI after an investigation.
