A 28-year-old Dayton man is behind bars Monday night, accused of sexually assaulting a 7-year-old boy at the Brunswick Square Mall.
Police say the incident occurred Friday night in a men?s room at Macy?s. Authorities say Charles Waldron exposed himself to the boy before sexually assaulting the child in the restroom.
The allegations have many of Waldron?s neighbors concerned for their children?s safety. The alleged incident also has some parents questioning when they should let their child use a public restroom alone.
Waldron has been charged with aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. He is being held in the Middlesex County Jail on $300,000 bail.
