Major toy retailers in the Garden State and across the country are expecting this year?s holiday season sales to be good despite the flawed economy.
Retailers say that parents who pace themselves and start buying early could get some good deals. Stores have already started running sales on certain toys.
?We?re finding that it?s very early this year because people need to maybe spread [money] out a little bit more,? says Deborah Gamrel, of The Learning Express in Wayne.
Gamarel also states that with more families staying home to save money, board games, science projects and crafts are making a big comeback.
