Shopping for unique clothes isn't always easy, especially in person. That's why a young entrepreneur just opened a new boutique in Nutley — proving her success is made in New Jersey.

In 2022, Alysa Cifelli, 19, created an online store. Two years later, she opened her own clothing store called Cifelli Apparel.

For Cifelli, the need for unique clothes fueled her to open the store. "There weren’t really any boutiques here in Nutley. Me and my friends in high school would have to travel 20 minutes away to get a cute outfit for an event,” she said.

Cifelli Apparel is filled with clothes, candles and accessories. Cifelli says she will soon sell shoes.

Cifelli says she is proud to build the business in Nutley, the town where she was born and raised.

"it doesn't feel like work to me because I love what I am doing,” she said. "People leave here feeling like the best version of themselves."
