For this week’s Made In New Jersey, News 12 visited Terminal A in Newark Liberty International Airport to highlight Black-owned local designers.

BOLD Newark is a one-stop shop for the work of local artists in New Jersey. From tote bags and candles to clothes, Sarah McKeon, general manager of New Jersey airports, says the business is part of a broader partnership effort.

"The intention is really to bring a good partnership in the airport and in the local communities and those small businesses that are represented by women owners by diverse owners, Black owners and things like that," McKeon said.

This area of Terminal A is solely dedicated to creating storefronts to hype up local communities around the airport.
