Family and friends gathered Thursday to say goodbye to Neil Edara, the 22-year-old Army cadet from Ridgewood who died during training at Fort Knox.
Edara joined ROTC at Rutgers University in September 2021.
The Army says his cause of death is still under investigation.
A small procession led by police and EMTs accompanied Edara's casket as it arrived at Feeney Funeral Home.
A wake was held Thursday afternoon and evening.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 3:15 p.m.
