The Long Branch Police Department is about to swear its newest member.

Meet “Fivo” (pronounced Five-Oh), the police department’s very own “Elf on the Shelf.”

Fivo has been going around with the officers to visit schools and the Monmouth Medical Center to help spread holiday cheer to the town’s children. He also rode around with the officers and other first responders.

The elf will be sworn in as Long Branch’s official police elf later this week before heading back to the North Pole to report to Santa.
