Delegates are in Chicago this week for the Democratic National Convention.
It comes as the party tries to put a focus on the future now that President Joe Biden is not running for reelection.
Some local Democrats beamed with pride after delivering emotional speeches to the crowd including Westchester’s own Hillary Clinton and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul.
“We have a winning team but also a winning message, that we are going to create the opportunity economy to lift everyone up,” said Hochul.
