If you haven't picked up flowers or chocolates yet for Valentine's Day, you still have some time.
This year, over 45% of people will spend at least $50 on a gift for their loved one, according to WalletHub.
The personal finance company says the average person will spend $185 to celebrate. And most people are gifting chocolate this year.
WalletHub also says 76% are expecting to receive a gift today.
  • 57% say they are buying chocolate.
  • 40% will give a good old fashion greeting card.
  • Around 20% are giving either gift cards, clothing or jewelry.
  • 39% are buying flowers.
At Ramsey Florist, they say they are making sure Valentines receive their flowers today.
“We have a lot of deliveries going out. Thankfully this weather is great today with the snow and everything. But the busiest day is Mother’s Day. Cause everyone has a mother, not everyone has a Valentine,” said Ramsey florist Matt Orzechowski.
How about making a stop at The Paper Store? They seem to have it all. They have Nora Fleming, Kendra Scott jewelry, Bogg Bags, Stanley’s, candy and a spa section.
