A fire badly damaged a home on Kinzel Lane in West Orange on Friday and sent at least one firefighter to the hospital.

The fire appeared to have started in the basement and then moved through the rest of the home Friday afternoon.

Fire officials say that crews had limited access to the interior of the home due to the severity of the fire.

One firefighter was sent to Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center for a minor injury.
