A family is searching for a puppy that ran away during a fire at their home Friday afternoon in Kingwood.

Officials say no one was injured in blaze on Oak Grove Road.

The family is receiving assistance from the American Red Cross.

Firefighters say they also found a cat alive in the basement overnight.

The Kingwood Township Fire Department urges residents in the area to look out for the puppy.
