A 'Kick or Treat' Halloween event was held in Bergenfield today for children with special needs.
The Bergenfield Recreation Department organized the event, which gives children the opportunity to kick the soccer ball around and enjoy some Halloween candy.
Organizers say the event allows children who otherwise may not be able to trick-or-treat to still enjoy the holiday.
The department says this is its first year holding the event, but it plans to continue to do so in the future.
