A Texas judge has ruled against Alex Jones in two lawsuits related to his claims about the Sandy Hook school shooting being a hoax involving crisis actors.
The parents of two children killed in the 2012 Newtown, Connecticut school shooting sued the right-wing conspiracy theorist for saying the entire thing was a hoax on his website Info-Wars.
Jones asserted the shooting, in which 26 people, including children, were killed, was carried out by crisis actors on behalf of people who oppose the second amendment.
He admitted the shooting was real during a deposition in 2019.
A jury will decide how much money he owes the plaintiffs.
