A Hillsborough man pleaded guilty to murdering one of his co-workers and then setting her home on fire to cover up the crime.
Juan Jimenez-Olivera will serve 30 years in prison for the murder of 30-year-old Sviatlana Dranko last year.
Firefighters found Dranko's body in her Hillsborough townhouse in April 2014 after a fire was reported at the home.
Jimenez-Olivera and Dranko worked together at Roman Gourmet in Hillsborough.
If Jimenez-Olivera's case went to trial, he could have faced 126 years in prison.
