The town of Ocean City has brought in a company to deal with aggressive seagulls dive bombing unsuspecting tourists this summer on the boardwalk and snatching their food.
"I've seen seagulls come down and take a bucket of French fries right out of somebody's hand,” says
Bob Alexander with Ocean City Coffee Company.

Since Monday, a rotating group of trained raptors now patrol the boards.
East Coast Falcons will fly the birds from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. through Labor Day. The falcons are pre-fed before beginning their watch, so it’s strictly a scare tactic.
The process will cost the town $2,100 a day, a price taxpayers say they're willing to pay.
“We've got to continue it,” says Madge Jordan. “This is a family resort, it's the best we can do; I think they have the money they can do it.
The town will have spent more than $60,000 on the raptor protection by the time it ends in a few weeks on Labor Day.
