New Jersey Subaru drivers got behind the wheel of their vehicles Friday morning for a weekend charity event
New Jersey Subaru drivers have a weekend charity drive every year called "The 48 Hours of Tri-State."
The starting point was where it always begins: Make-a-Wish headquarters in Monroe Township.
For 22 years, Subaru has sponsored this drive around the region.
Drivers will go more than 1,000 miles over the next three days.
The route changes every year, but the money raised always goes to Make-a-Wish.
The first leg of the trip was completed as of Friday night.
All of the Subarus stopped in Saratoga Springs, New York.
They vehicles will then head to Vermont and New Hampshire on Saturday before they conclude the drive Sunday in Middletown, New York.
As of Friday night, this year's trip has raised over $100,000 for Make-a-Wish New Jersey.
