The Rutgers women’s basketball team took a road trip on Tuesday. It wasn’t for a game, but to make New Jersey proud.

The team stopped by the Rutgers Cancer Institute in New Brunswick to visit patients and to help decorate the Christmas tree.

It is always tough to see kids in the hospital at this time of year.

The players brought some words of inspiration, smiles and hope along with them.
