New Jersey residents were out in full force this weekend to show their support for fallen first responders.
Thousands of people laced up their shoes to participate in the 21st annual Tunnel to Towers 5K Run and Walk in Brooklyn.
The event honors fallen New York City firefighter Stephen Siller who died on 9/11.
New Jersey State Troopers took part, along with the acting attorney general and lieutenant colonel.
Proceeds from the event go toward the foundation's programs, which often help new jersey families.
The foundation honored the family of fallen New Jersey State Police Lieutenant Matthew Razukas this year. Razukas died in July 2021 from COVID complications.
