Jersey City honored a local entrepreneur for his commitment to animals.

Arron Jones-Williams is the founder of Rescue Treats, a pet treat company that donates 100% of its proceeds to animal shelters and rescue organizations.

It's now sold in 88 stores, and each bag allows customers to choose which rescue group receives the funds.

City officials recognized Rescue Treats for making a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and the community.
