Some Harrison students are making New Jersey proud with their “Pinwheels for Peace” project.
Students kindergarten through eighth grade made pinwheels and wrote messages of peace, love and tolerance on them. They then used the 1,000 pinwheels to create a large peace sign.
The project was to commemorate International Peace Day, which was held this past Saturday.
