Jersey Proud: Employment Horizons employee reaches 50-year career milestone

Whippany resident Pam Yee celebrated 50 years of employment with Employment Horizons.

The company is a nonprofit that provides training and job placement services for people with disabilities in northern New Jersey.

Yee first joined the company as a client in 1975 when it was named Occupational Training Center for the Handicapped. They helped place her at a salon in Denville.

Later in her career, she joined the fulfillment center team at Employment Horizons’ Cedar Knolls facility. She currently handles packaging and assembly work.

Yee was celebrated at Employment Horizons’ Annual Recognition Dinner by over 200 attendees and received the Gold Star Award.
