Traffic stop in the Bronx leads to gun arrest

Police in the Bronx arrested two individuals late Thursday night after a routine traffic stop led to the discovery of a firearm and other weapons inside their vehicle.

A 27-year-old male driver and a 21-year-old female passenger were taken into custody after police officers pulled over a black 2024 Toyota Camry for a traffic infraction. During the stop, police observed a firearm and multiple magazines inside the car.

Police identified the driver as Jonah Nembard, 27, of Mount Vernon, New York, and the passenger as Reagan Jackson, 21, of the Bronx. Both have been charged in connection with the incident.
