There aren’t a lot of 9-year-olds walking around giving away $2,000 checks. But it happened in Parsippany this week.
Vivan Bhattacharya organized a fundraiser for the Parsippany Food Pantry. He and his friends made a bunch of greeting cards and sold them at the Farmers Market in town. Those sales raised $1,800.
Bhattacharya presented the check to the food pantry director. This is the fourth year that he's put together this fundraiser.
