Students and parents at Soaring Heights Charter School in Jersey City told News 12 they felt comfortable and confident after a reported bomb threat happened early Friday morning.

According to a school official, Jersey City police responded around 6 a.m. After inspecting the school and investigating what was believed to be an email threat, it was determined there was no cause for concern. The school then opened with a delayed opening at 10 a.m.
“This morning, a non-credible threat was made to the school. Proper authorities were called, they came and investigated and deemed the school safe,” says Jacqueline Quagliana, Lead Person of Soaring Heights Charter School.
