Disturbing surveillance video not only captured the shooting of a New York man in Jersey City, but also drivers speeding by apathetic to the situation.
Video footage shows the 43-year-old being shot and collapsing into the middle of Broadway. Three vehicles sped by as he writhed on the pavement before anyone stopped to help.
Other vehicles also drove past the victim, including a bus that hopped a curb to pass him. Police say none of the motorists made emergency calls.
The shooting left the man critically injured and in a coma until recently. Police are looking for suspects.
