Jersey City hosts annual LGBT pride festival
The 17th annual Jersey City Pride Festival took place Saturday, and President Trump’s transgender military ban was a hot topic.
Many attendees spoke out against the ban that Trump imposed just days after praising the military for its tolerance.
The Pride festival was held on Newark Avenue between Grove Street and Jersey Avenue.
This year’s Grand Marshal was transgender model, actress and community activist Carmen Carrera.
