R&B pours into New Jersey this weekend with shows from Kool and the Gang, Raheem Devaughn and Vivian Green.
An "Evening of love" will be celebrated with Raheem Devaughn and Vivian Green at State Theatre in New Brunswick on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. Devaughn was born in Newark and his singing style has been compared to Marvin Gaye. Greene's 7th album, "Love Absolute," is also getting buzz right now. She received her big break as a backup singer for Jill Scott.
It’s a celebration of love as Kool and the Gang heads to Atlantic City this weekend. The '70s and '80s hit makers that started in Jersey City will bring their hit songs to Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City this Saturday, Feb. 18 at 8 p.m.
