The New Jersey-based Sharpe Family Singers hopes the nation feels different than Howie Mandel did about their performance Tuesday night on “America’s Got Talent.”
The traditionally musical-theater group took a different turn when they performed "Carry on Wayward Son" with their own twist. And Mandel, a judge on the TV show, hit his buzzer. He said the act felt corny.
The group will find out Wednesday night if they are one of the two acts that will advance to the next round.
