A head-turning St. Patrick’s Day display in Bloomfield has mannequins dressed in short dresses and shamrocks.
The display goes up every year. The man who creates it, James Joanow, says it's all in good fun.
"It's not meant to offend people in any way,” says Joanow. “It's just meant for you to come by the house, you have a good laugh, and you now go on with your day."
Some people around town like the display, while others do not.
"I think its joyful,” says neighbor Yennifer Nunez. “I mean, he's the only one that does it around here. Why not? We all should be doing something around the holidays, especially during this time when everyone is so down and depressed."
Joanow says the mannequins are also likely to appear around the Fourth of July.
