News 12’s Prashanthi Musapet was assessing the impact of Isaias in Middlesex County on Wednesday where thousands are still without power and many roadways remain closed.
Fire Chief Chris Perez says two people were taken to the hospital with “serious carbon monoxide poisoning.”
He stressed the importance of proper ventilation while using a generator.
Utilities are asking for the public’s patience as they work to get homes hooked up.
The South Brunswick police force has been updating the situation on their Twitter feed and on their website.
