A 19-year-old U.S. Navy sailor from Hackensack was killed in a car crash in Virginia, and investigators say speed played a role in the crash.
The crash happened Friday just before 8 p.m. in King George County.
According to police. David Suescun was driving on Route 218 when he lost control of his vehicle, went off the road and struck a tree.
Suescun was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another passenger was hospitalized with serious injuries.
