Inventors from across the county poured into Essex County Thursday for a chance to get their creations on TV.
TELEBrands, a consumer products company that created the "As Seen on TV" logo, sponsored the "Inventors Day" event in Fairfield as it searches for a new item to promote.
For many inventors Thursday was the first time they pitched their products, while others already sell their creations online but want the larger audience infomercials can provide.
