FORECAST:
Mostly sunny and fair conditions persist through today before a southwest wind drags more humidity to New Jersey into Friday. This will spark an isolated thundershower in the afternoon.
Although it will be relatively dry and "fine" in most of the state, the weather gets worse into the weekend. Saturday starts fine with a partly sunny sky and humid conditions. Then thunderstorms pop up for the afternoon.
It will be scattered before a line of thunderstorms arrives for the late evening.
Most of this rain lingers into Sunday with an overcast as it remains generally damp. Following Sunday will be days of unsettled conditions with an unstable air mass that cycles periods of showers through New Jersey.
It won't be a "washout" for each of the days, but there will be high chances for rain from Monday through Thursday. Most of the rain is scattered and it lingers until the jet stream can push away this unsettled batch in the late week.
