The iconic “Big Santa” is returning to Westfield Garden State Plaza after 30 years, but this year he’s new and improved.
He will now be 45 feet tall, with size 90 boots.
The light-up Santa will be next to Nordstrom and be visible from both Route 17 and Route 4.
From the 1950s through the 1980s, the 51-foot-high unforgettable Big Santa was perched atop a chimney in the mall’s parking lot.
The plaza will host a public lighting ceremony on Nov. 15 at 6 p.m.
