The Hunts Point Winter Fest kicked off Saturday with Bronx-based vendors selling everything from holiday decorations to hand-crafted graffiti murals.
The fair is in its seventh year, and while all of the items are available for sale, organizers say the event is more about showcasing the borough's artists and history.
The craftsmanship of some of the work on display is the best the Bronx has to offer, according to organizers.
Organizers say 10 percent of all proceeds will be donated to charities in support of Eric Garner, the Staten Island man who died after being placed in a chokehold by police earlier this year, and other anti-police brutality organizations.
