The rainy weather didn't put a damper for hundreds of people in Montclair who turned out for the third annual Walnut Street Fair on Sunday.
The Junior league of Montclair/Newark organized the fair that consisted of more than 250 vendors that offered unique items and delicious eats.
While some were new to the street fair, others have participated every year. Vendors said the fair offers great exposure for small businesses.
"This is a very nice way of coming out and meeting small business owners that you would never see otherwise. So I really appreciate the idea of street fairs like this one today because there's so many small businesses here and some of them just operate in street fairs," said Janice Wanjiku, the owner of Mrembo NYC.
Vendors said they can't wait for next year’s street fair and hope that it will not be rainy.
