Hundreds of mourners gathered in Hoboken Wednesday for a wake for a retired priest and his two sisters who were killed in a crash earlier this month.
The viewing was held at Saint Francis Church in Hoboken, where Father Michael Guglielmelli served as a priest for nearly 30 years.
Guglielmelli, 81, and his sisters Dolores Guglielmelli, 87, and Antoinette Gallina, 85 were killed in a crash in Freehold on June 4. A fourth person who was riding in their vehicle remains hospitalized.
Authorities say that the Dodge Caravan the victims were riding in was struck by a 19-year-old driver on Route 537.
A funeral Mass for Guglielmelli will be held Thursday morning.
