Hundreds spent their Labor Day in Rutherford at the annual street fair.
While many residents head to the fair for food, fun and family tradition, politicians attend to get their names and faces noticed. Rutherford mayoral candidate John Hipp said he enjoys meeting the voters and hearing their concerns.
Many political candidates pull out all the stops at the fair. They put their pictures on poles, flyers and even popcorn containers.
The street fair has been held in Rutherford for the past 32 years. It is known as the largest event of its kind in New Jersey.
