How long can you eat Thanksgiving leftovers?  

The U.S. Department of Agriculture says when refrigerated, leftovers can only be eaten safely within four days.

If you still have Thanksgiving food in the refrigerator, especially turkey, get rid of it. 

The U.S. Department of Agriculture says leftovers can only be eaten safely within four days when refrigerated.  

That means this past Monday was the cut off day to safely eat Thanksgiving leftovers.

However, USDA says if you freeze the leftovers, then they’re still good to eat.
