The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office has announced Ronald Teschner, the housemate of missing Ocean Township woman Jacqueline Terrulli, has been charged in her murder.
Terrulli, 65, went missing Sept. 12 after a fire badly damaged her home on Wickapecko Drive, where she lived with several relatives. Teschner, 49, was also staying in the home.
Teschner has been charged with first-degree murder, first-degree felony murder, second-degree disturbing human remains, first-degree robbery, second-degree aggravated arson and three counts of theft.
Police say that they found Teschner driving Terrulli's Jeep a day after the fire. He also allegedly had Terrulli's jewelry and shotguns inside the Jeep.
Family members told News 12 that they suspected Teschner had something to do with Terrulli's disappearance. They say that she wanted Teschner out of the home.
At this point, the remains of Terrulli have not been located.
