Crews in Bedminster had their hands full after a horse fell into a pond and could not get out.

Animal rescuers from Somerset and Hunterdon counties were called to the scene Thursday afternoon and used a pulley to hoist the horse out of the water and mud.

Luckily, they were able to return the animal safely to its owner.
