The Georgia-based company announced that it would be closing some of the underperforming locations due to economic challenges.
Hooters did not say how many locations it would be closing or where the restaurants are located.
The announcement comes as several other casual dining chains like Red Lobster and TGI Friday’s announced a series of closures.
