Hoboken police are looking for two men accused of a violent assault inside the McDonald's on Washington Street on Memorial Day.
The beating took place at around 3:30 a.m. at the restaurant. The two suspects allegedly got into an altercation with the victim and began beating him up.
The victim is at Jersey City Medical Center. He suffered massive head trauma and required surgery, officials say.
The two suspects were caught on surveillance camera. Hoboken police have identified one of the suspects as Paul Maiolini of Carmel, New York. Police say he is the one who punched the victim. Police are still looking for him.
A second suspect remains unknown. He was seen wearing a red baseball cap at the time. He is described as a light skinned white or Hispanic man. He is around 5 feet, 9 inches tall and may have tattoos on both of his arms.
