Police say the driver jumped the curb, struck the victim, then reversed and hit him again before fleeing.

A hit-and-run driver in a silver Ford Taurus ran over a man twice on Grove Street in Newark last week.
Police say the driver jumped the curb, struck the victim, then reversed and hit him again before fleeing.
An off-duty officer witnessed it and aided the victim. He was taken to a hospital.
