Hindenburg disaster marks 80 years; crash site open to public

<p>Today marks 80 years since the Hindenburg disaster in New Jersey. Thirty six people were killed when the German passenger airship went down in Lakehurst in a ball of flames.</p>

Hindenburg disaster marks 80 years; crash site open to public
Today marks 80 years since the Hindenburg disaster in New Jersey.
Thirty six people were killed when the German passenger airship went down in Lakehurst in a ball of flames.
For the first time in five years, the crash site will be open to the public.
The Air Force has granted limited access to Joint Base Maquire-Dix-Lakehurst for the event.
