The Hinchliffe Stadium Motor Racing Association held its eighth annual Racing Expo Sunday in Paterson.

It was held as a way to remind those responsible for renovating the historic landmark that it was once a premiere racing venue and could be again.

It's been decades since cars raced in in the stadium, but some are hoping history repeats itself soon.

"They used to run here two nights a week, on Tuesdays and Friday nights, and they'd sell this place out, standing room only, talking about 10,000 people, " says Ronny Dennis, of the Hinchliffe Stadium Motor Racing Association.
