A hiker helped find a woman who was missing since Saturday night.

Monroe Township police say that the hiker found the woman, who was in distress, around 4 p.m. Monday in Thompson Park.

Evelyn Zavala was last seen near the 7-Eleven in Jamesburg on Saturday evening. When police found Zavala, they found that she had injuries on her feet.

Zavala was carried out of the woods on a stretcher and was taken to the hospital for treatment
