Heavy rain overnight causes minor flooding around New Jersey rivers

A flooding alert was issued for Old York Road at around midnight. The river level rose quickly overnight and is expected to come down by the afternoon.

Heavy rains Wednesday and early Thursday morning caused some minor flooding in areas around New Jersey rivers.
Blackwells Mills Causeway in Franklin was closed due to flooding from Millstone River.
The Raritan River in Bridgewater has crested.
A flooding alert was issued for Old York Road at around midnight. The river level rose quickly overnight and was expected to recede by the afternoon.
